Delivery included. Painting of the chuch tower in a little village close to my home. To one side is an old beech tree and on the other is the telephone post. I sat at the base of the tower, to one side looking up rather than across, and I hope this gives a feel of the type of perpective Hopper used.I have tried to include verticals such as the telephone post that I would normally leave out, but he uses as emphasis on the vertical parts of the picture. I found this more controlled way of working very different to my own style and quite difficult to do. It has become very much my interpretation of how he worked amalgamated with my own style.
